A stunning repousse bangle from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold, the piece has a beautiful repousse motif that covers the entire outer surface. The design features an array of blooming flowers, which are beautifully carved and give wonderful depth and texture to the piece. The bangle also features three dainty stones located at the front of the bracelet, which include two diamonds separated by a single sapphire. All three of the stones are held within bezel settings. The bracelet is hinged and clasps at the side. When worn, the piece has a striking and substantial appearance that would look beautiful grouped with other similar bangles. A very versatile bracelet, it would make a fantastic addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The interior of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall. It would fit nicely on a small sized wrist. The surface of the bracelet measures about 1/4" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the sapphire and diamond stones are secure and intact. The hidden push clasp is in working condition.
